Accuracy & Design
The SXM Series is a standardized line of bi-directional precision ball screws offering two high-precision grades: JIS C3 and C5. Axial play is precisely controlled—0 mm (preloaded for C3) and ≤0.005 mm (C5). The screw shaft is made of S55C (induction hardened) and the nut of SCM415H (carburized), with a surface hardness of ≥HRC 58 in the threaded section. This ensures superior wear resistance, rigidity, and operational stability under repeated bi-directional motion.
 

Model Structure & Specifications

Each model follows a clear coding system that indicates key dimensions and options: shaft diameter, lead, left/right thread lengths, total shaft length, accuracy grade, lubrication type, shaft end profile (A or B type), and nut flange orientation (fixed side X or support side Y). For example, "SXM 08 01 120 L 120 R 300 C3 1 A X" specifies an 8 mm diameter, 1 mm lead, 120 mm left and right threads, 300 mm total length, C3 accuracy, anti-rust oil, A-type shaft end, and fixed-side flange. Lubrication options include recommended grease, anti-rust oil, food-grade grease, or others.

Performance Parameters

The series provides detailed performance data including lead accuracy, total run-out, axial play, preload torque, and basic load ratings. For instance, the SXM0401 model has a dynamic load rating (Ca) of 420 N and a static load rating (Coa) of 570 N in both C3 and C5 grades. Travel deviation (ep) and variation (V300) are tightly controlled, ensuring high repeatability and smooth motion. These attributes make the SXM Series ideal for applications requiring precise positioning and reliable load capacity in compact designs.
