The RSC Series Recirculation Planetary Roller Screw is designed to deliver significantly higher dynamic and static load ratings compared to conventional ball screws. By employing threaded rollers that recirculate within the nut assembly, the load is distributed across multiple continuous contact lines rather than discrete points. This design drastically reduces stress concentration and greatly enhances impact resistance. According to Hertzian contact mechanics, the RSC series can withstand static loads up to three times greater than equivalent ball screws and offers approximately 1.5 times the operational service life, making it exceptionally reliable for heavy-duty and high-cycle applications.
 
Speed and Acceleration
RSC Recirculation Planetary Roller Screws excel in high-speed and high-acceleration environments. The recirculating roller mechanism allows for smooth and continuous motion, supporting rotational speeds often exceeding 3,000 rpm and accelerations of up to 3g. Unlike ball screws, whose lead is constrained by ball diameter and recirculation geometry, the RSC series provides highly flexible lead design—allowing leads as fine as 0.5mm or smaller, as well as customized fractional or integer values. This enables precise motion control without the need for external reduction gearing, simplifying system design and improving dynamic response.

With numerous parallel contact lines between the rollers and the screw thread, the RSC series achieves outstanding axial and torsional stiffness.
